Who we are

Jones Farms is a fourth-generation farm and ranch rooted in the wide, wind-shaped country just outside the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem in Wyoming. The land has been cared for by our family for generations, and that continuity shapes everything we do. It is with reverence and thanks to our ancestors for paving the way for us to still be here stewarding the land.

Our story is one of both heritage and renewal. The ranch carries decades of working knowledge, while the current chapter brings a deepened commitment to soil health, animal wellbeing, and nutrient-dense food. We believe truly good beef begins long before harvest… it starts with living grass, clean water, patient finishing, and respect for the animal from first breath to final day. Minimal medications and no unnecessary vaccinations are put into our cattle. We do not use growth hormones either, keeping the beef you feed your family, clean and close to nature.

Our cattle are raised on open pasture and finished with farm raised feed to produce beautifully marbled, flavorful, grass-fed, grain finished beef. We focus on quality over speed, nutrition over volume, and transparency over trends. The result is beef that is as nourishing as it is beautiful… rich in flavor, thoughtfully raised, and connected to the landscape it comes from.

Life here is seasonal and hands-on. Calving, grazing rotations, fencing, water lines, winter feeding… each task ties us more closely to the rhythms of this place. We don’t see ourselves as separate from the land, but responsible to it. Each generation adds its care to the next.
